Doctor Who: Lockdown! ist der Titel eines Webcast-Projektes, das 2020 während der Corona-Pandemie von Emily Cook ins Leben gerufen wurde.
Es entstand parallel zum weltweiten Doctor Who-Watch-Along, welches organisiert wurde um die zu dieser Zeit in vielen Ländern verordnete Isolation gemeinsam zu verbringen.
Den Anfang machte ein von Steven Moffat geschriebener Sketch mit dem Titel Strax saves the Day, der auf Twitter veröffentlicht wurde. Für das selbst produzierte Video wurden Dan Starkey als Strax und Neve McIntosh als Vastra als Sprecher tätig.
Es folgte die nie veröffentlichte Prequel-Kurzgeschichte Doctor Who and the Time War von Russell T. Davies, die auf der Doctor Who-Website veröffentlicht wurde und ursprünglich als Bindeglied zwischen dem TV-Film Doctor Who und der ersten Episode Rose des Neustart 2005 gedacht war.
Eine Besonderheit stellte am 23. April das Video The Doctors Say Thank You dar, bei dem mit Ausnahme von Christopher Eccleston alle lebenden Darsteller des Doctors mitwirkten.

Mit World Enough and Time / The Doctor Falls sollte die Reihe am 06.Juni 2020 offiziell enden. Zugesagt hatten Steven Moffat, Matt Lucas, Pearl Mackie und Rachel Talalay. Nach dem gewaltsamen Tod von George Floyd in den USA empfanden viele Fans den Termin und den Inhalt im Vorfeld jedoch als unpassend, weswegen das Watchalong ersatzlos gestrichen wurde.
Statt dessen organisierten Fans unter #DoctorWhoBlackout einen eigenen Watchalong, welcher zwar nicht zur offiziellen Reihe gehört, von offizieller Seite jedoch unterstützt wurde.
Mit der zweiten Welle der Pandemie wurden die Watchalongs ab 31. Oktober 2020 fortgeführt
