Les Prix Hugo sont donnés chaque année pour les meilleurs œuvres ou accomplissement dans la science-fiction ou le fantasy de l'année précédente. Le nom Hugo provient d'Hugo Gernsback, le fondateur du magazine Amazing Stories. Ces prix datent de 1955.
