La Prima Stagione di Doctor Who andò in onda nel Regno Unito dal 23 novembre 1963 al 12 settembre 1964. Ebbe come principali attori William Hartnell e Carole Ann Ford rispettivamente nei ruoli del Primo Dottore e di Susan Foreman, sua nipote.
Panoramica[]
Consisteva di otto serial, in tutto 42 episodi, e un episodio pilota mai trasmesso in TV (in particolare, il team di produzione ne realizzò diverse versioni). Questa stagione inaugurale introdusse molti concetti che vengono mantenuti tutt'ora, e soprattutto presentò i Dalek. Due dei tre serial storici sono al presente considerati persi, tuttavia rimangono registrazioni audio di tutti gli episodi.
